Sabot Has Rezoned Goodwin Apartments Adding Permanent Affordability and Vertical Mixed-Use. Sabot thanks the Neighborhood Contact Team and Chair Angela Benavides Garza. Neighborhood contact team suggested financial classes for residents, and we responded by engaging FrameWorks Community Development Corp, who will provide six(6) classes on finances and a path to home ownership. We will be working with area developers , apartment owners and relocation firms when the time comes for redevelopment, to help residents stay in the area, with access to their area schools, childcare, and more. The site location is just minutes walk to the Springdale General Creative Offices and the Austin Bouldering Project, a 48,000 sf indoor fitness and rock climbing gym. We thank Attorney Michael Whellan and Michael Gaudini, of Armbrust and Brown for their expertise, and support. Read more in Austin Business Journal.
